I was born with a defected pancreas, so I'm back on insulin for a while, just till it decides to start doing its job again. Super strict diet.
But I'm on the pen, which it way better than syringes. Needles on syringes are longer and penetrate deeper and hurt more. Needles on the pen are short, and I don't feel anything when I inject myself. Plus I have to prep the syringe, get the 2 viles of 2 different insulins add and subtract the cc amounts and store them in in the fridge. The pen, you just turn the knob to the amount of cc's I need and then inject myself. No storage needed and its travel friendly.
